Pundit Terms and Conditions of Use

Please read and understand the points below.

Pundit is a community of users moderated by a small group of journalists.
By participating in this community you are agreeing to the following:

• We encourage robust debate and dissent amongst community members, but expect users to treat each other with respect. Please, no obscenities, personal abuse, threats, or rants. In other words, play the ball, not the person and think before you push ‘post’. Pundit is all about intelligent debate.

• Any user who believes that any material on Pundit violates the above may contact us. We encourage it. There's a Report Abuse button beside every comment. It’s your community, so help us keep it safe. We will delete objectionable posts and persistent offenders will be de-registered. Please be aware that we have to remove comments/stories by hand and that it may not be possible to do so immediately.

• Comments and stories posted by members of the Pundit community do not necessarily reflect the views of the owners of Pundit Limited.

• We are not able to vouch for the credibility of site members, or the accuracy of their comments/stories. We cannot be held responsible for inaccurate material posted to the site by community members, but will act quickly to remove such material when we are alerted to it.

• We also reserve the right to remove objectionable material at any time. We cannot be held responsible for objectionable material posted by members of the Pundit community, but will take all reasonable steps to remove objectionable material as soon as we are aware of it.

• We can also revoke membership at any time, for any reason.

• We reserve the right to edit comments and stories sent in to Pundit. We also reserve the right not to post stories that do not meet our criteria, and to remove comments/stories for any reason at any time. That's just life.

• By joining Pundit, you agree to post material that is is your own work, original to you. You may not post comments, photos or articles that are defamatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, subject to copyright, sub-judice, or contain obscenities. You may not post material that you know to be false.

• We allow you to register with Pundit and join the Pundit community on the understanding that you are using a genuine email belonging to you. You are not to clog up the Pundit system with various aliases/identities.

• You may copy and print Pundit materials on the understanding that they are for your own use only. You may not use them for commercial purposes.

• Finally, at Pundit we reserve the right to change our terms and conditions at any time.
