Phil Vine
Phil Vine has been a print, radio and television journalist for 30 years cycling between most of the current affairs shows in New Zealand, Sunday, Sixty Minutes, Fair Go and 3D investigates, winning a clutch of awards along the way. He’s written for the Guardian and Listener and worked for ITV, BBC and CBC, reporting out of hotspots from Pakistan and Iraq, Nicaragua and El Salvador to East Timor and the Solomons. He’s worked for the Red Cross in Indonesia and Geneva and reviews books for Radio New Zealand. He’s presently making films for Greenpeace. Phil has three children Tash, Ruben and Sebastien. He is married to Sonja deFriez.
